Nowadays, every hotel room has a TV. Naturally, you would want to use it to watch your favorite TV shows or use some other TV’s functions.
But sometimes you simply can’t do that because the TV is locked and only lets you watch certain preset channels.
Today, I’m going to walk you through the steps of how to unlock the hotel mode on Philips TV using the password in order to gain control of the inputs.
How To Do It?
The thing we are going to do here today is simply enter a code into the TV, which will allow us to unlock it pretty easily.
Keep in mind, you will need to press the code given below (319753 Mute) pretty fast for the menu to open.
It might take you a few attempts to get it right.
Here is what you will need to do:
- Turn the TV on.
- Quickly press the following buttons on the remote: 3 1 9 7 5 3 Mute
- The Setup menu will appear.
- Go to Communication > Program Install.
- Choose Input.
- Change the input to HDMI 1 or to the port you need.
After you’ve set up your HDMI port settings, don’t forget to scroll down to “Stored” option from the same Program Install menu, and choose “Stored.”
This will save the setting you’ve chosen, otherwise the progress will be lost.
You can play around with other settings now and modify them to your liking.
